The Cavalier Inn continued to disappoint at breakfast with a mediocre spread that apparently poisoned Erin. Car rides and upset stomachs do not mix well, especially when on the Blue Ridge Parkway with all its curves.
Our trip today was completely outside of cell phone service which made it peaceful. It turned out to be very nice. However, without a data connection, I can't upload pictures from today. Our hotel wifi isn't fast enough to upload pictures here at the Oak Haven Lodge in Floyd, VA.
The pictures and videos from today are critical to the experience, more today than any other day as you'll see. So, I'll try to find wifi along the route to Hickory, NC tomorrow, but I'll likely have to wait until we arrive at our Marriott and do a double post.
